Brazil is a rapidly growing music market, and Universal Music Group intends to open a virgin music label and artist services unit there.
Miguel Cariello will be the new venture’s leader, and he said: “My main goal is to keep the disruptive spirit that has always characterized this legendary label and to broaden virgin music legacy with the help of great artists and excellent music.”
