Apple Music, the music streaming service, is now integrating Shazam’s technology into its platform to ensure all rightsholders get paid.
Apple, which owns Shazam, uses the song finding tool to ensure that owners of the music that appear in mixes get their share of royalty payments, and it is part of Apple’s plan to ensure a fair deal for music creators.
